I was over at one of my favorite sites and noticed this article on green roofs. They are supposed to help cool down cities, reducing the heat island effect and they are supposed to help fight climate change. Green roofs are simply gardens planted on a roof instead of in beds and yards.
But how easy are they to maintain. Do you have to water them often, feed them, pick them, prune them, replant each year. What would be the price of upkeep. I saw this on the Planet Green channel the other day and it is a novel approach, but if you know any answers to the maintainance required, please let us know by posting a comment.
