I’m sure everyone has heard about the oilspill in the ocean. Well, it is horrible. It is killing so many animals, it’s countless. It’s killing dolphins, birds, fish, and many more animals who have the ocean as a habitat. It’s important that you do everything you can not to pollute, especially when you’re at the beach. Save the Animals!

So everyone has probably known that for a while, the oceans and lakes and rivers have been contaminated with pollution. You probably also know that the air has been damaged with pollution. So if we all work as a team, we can save the animals who live in these habitat. The birds are dying and so are the fish and mammals who live in the water. People don’t care and they just litter without thinking. They have no idea that they are being murders. Not only to the animals, but to the environment too. So let’s all come together to save the planet and the animals we love!

Not polluting the Earth

Hello my normal or unnormal peeps. It’s me again. I know I haven’t been writing in a while, but you’re going to love this one. It’s on how to not pollute the Earth. One easy way not to pollute the Earth is to turn off the light when you leave a room. Or instead of tunring off the light, you can car pull or ride your bike. Or you can do both! Recycling

Hey green people and maybe aliens of the world. Did you enjoy yesterdays segment? I know my family did. Well, today is on recycling. Does anyone know what recycling is? Well for those who don’t, it means cause to repeat a cycle or use again after processing. Do you recylce? I do. I even dig through the garbage sometimes at my house to save the world. Most schools I know of recycle. So I want to say thanks for making the world a better place for everyone. Saving the world is a big deal. If we don’t who will. So we should all thank the schools who do that for us. Try to use a recycle bin sometime if you don’t already.

Shaw plant uses bio-diesel from cooking oil

Shaw Industries, the nations leading flooring manufacturing has began using bi-diesel manufactured from cooking oil. This keeps us from using more oil, costs less, burns cleaner and eliminates the need for sulphur. The story is awesome and shows that not only is Shaw a leading floring manufacturer but is equally concerned in reducin the demand for foreign oil. If the rest of the American olil companies were as concerned as Shaw we would be in a better situation.

A big thumbs up to Walmart for the things they do to help our world. They have for years been offering people the opportunity to return their plastic bags to be recycled, but now now they have gone a step further in helping to reduce the number of bags making it out of their store. They are doing this by offering reusable canvas bags for sale at their checkout stands. I love the idea and the only step would be to offer them at the same price that a plastic bag would cost Walmart. So lets see if we can get them to make this move to go green and save shoppers some green in the process.

Ethanol Takes a Blow

President Bush and some of his other compadres are at it again, cmplaining about the ethanol requirements. Texas governornor Rick Perry is asking that the EPA relax its ethanol regulations citing rising corn and soy bean costs affecting farmers. But is that the real reason? Probably not. If America starts being weened off its dependancy on oil, then the Texans and others involved in the oil business start losing.

I know, I know. Treehuggers everywhere are going to say that instead of going ethanol, go hybird or total electric. But if someone does not have the money, then ethanol is an alternative.

Victory for the Everglades

As we all know, development has been taken the Everglades of Florida away at a very high rate of consumption. However, US Sugar has agreed to sell back 187,000 acres of the Everglades to the state of Florida. It is projected to cost $1.75 billion for the land with $50 million of that coming from cash reserves and the other coming from long-term notes called “certificates of participation”.
